South Australia has finalised its line-up for Game 2 of its Marsh AFLW National Development Championships campaign against Victoria Metro on Thursday afternoon.
Set to tackle Vic Metro at Shepley Oval (Melbourne) from 1:30pm, the AAMI SA U16 Girls team is aiming to make it two wins from two starts after defeating Western Australia last week.
Coach Bek McMahon’s charges secured a five-point win over the Sandgropers in Game 1 of the Marsh AFLW National Development Championships, with a number of players having a pivotal role in the gritty victory.
Emmerson Warren – daughter of Norwood premiership player Ben – was excellent off half-back and was well supported by Jaidee-Lee Shortridge and Della McCracken.
SA captain Izabella Nisbet showed she is in a league of her own last week, notching up 35 disposals, with Mia Wood (22 disposals), Amalia Mousolino, and Scarlett Blethyn among the Croweaters’ best.
