North Adelaide survived a late Woodville-West Torrens fightback to claim an exciting four-point victory in Round 13 of the AAMI Talent League at Revo Fitness Oval.
Having had their noses in front for much of the day, the Roosters appeared in control with an 18-point lead early in the first term before the Eagles kicked three of the last four goals to challenge the home side.
North midfielders Harry Hobby (35 disposals, 10 marks and a goal) and Kade Clark (30 disposals and nine clearances) led from the front alongside teammate Tom Laube (21 disposals and two goals).
Jude Cowan (29 disposals and eight rebound-50s) and Nate Ashley (28 disposals and five clearances) found plenty of the ball for the Eagles while Jackson Brooks booted three goals, including the last two of the game.
Glenelg continued its impressive season with a 100-point demolition of Norwood at The Parade.
In control from start-to-finish, Glenelg dominated the inside-50s (59-26), clearances (34-23) and disposals (329-229) in an emphatic reminder it is the team to beat.
Ryder Lindner (31 disposals, 11 inside-50s and two goals) once again impressed for the Bays alongside Jack Kloeden (20 disposals and three goals), while forward Nate McCleary booted four goals.
Harrison Tink (25 disposals and four marks), Tyler Hitch (23 disposals, eight tackles and five clearances) and James Mudge (16 disposals and a goal) stood tall on a difficult day for the Redlegs.

Sturt overcame an inaccurate West Adelaide by four points at Richmond Oval to remain in-touch with the top four.
Despite the Bloods winning the clearance battle (31-26) and inside-50 count (45-40) and registering six more scoring shots, it was Sturt who had the edge for much of the game and at the final siren.
In a low-scoring affair, Double Blues forward Emmett O’Keefe nailed three important goals as teammates Jacob Westley (33 disposals and seven clearances) and Jesse Nunan (29 disposals and seven rebound-50s) impressed in the midfield and backline respectively.
West’s Hugo Williams gathered 34 disposals, 10 marks, eight tackles and eight clearances in a terrific display, teammate Naman Mittal managed 30 disposals but four behinds and Zavier O’Hara and Lucas Piggott booted two goals apiece.
South Adelaide returned to the winners list with a 32-point victory over Central District at Magain Stadium.
Goals were hard to come by for both sides, however South gained the edge in the midfield and did enough to hold off the Bulldogs despite inaccurate kicking in-front of goal.
The consistent Liam Bell (28 disposals, six marks and six rebound-50s) was South’s leading ball-winner, Tommy Aldridge laid a game-high 12 tackles and Cruze Morgan made the most of his chances to boot two goals.
Logan Treverton (34 disposals, 11 tackles and a goal) and Braith Hickey (27 disposals and seven clearances) were among the Bulldogs’ best and Harrison Schubert kicked two goals.
