North Adelaide managed to cling on for a nail-biting one-point victory against Woodville-West Torrens in a pulsating Round 13 AAMI Talent League contest at Revo Fitness Oval.
Leading by a goal nearing time-on of the final quarter, the Roosters conceded five behinds in a row to the Eagles, who failed to make the most of their opportunities to steal the premiership points.
Rooster Blake Amos was a driving force in his side’s win with 31 disposals and 11 clearances while Nate Howson and Armani Jacom-Scullino (20 disposals) lent valuable support.
Eagles Cooper Wurfel and Harry Scholes played their roles admirably while Noah AhChee led the way for his side with 22 disposals and eight marks.
Sturt overcame a sluggish start to claim a tight four-point win against West Adelaide at Richmond Oval.

Norwood powered away from Glenelg in the final term to keep its top four hopes alive with a 19-point triumph at The Parade.
Holding a slim five-point lead at the final change, the Redlegs kicked 3.3 to the Bays’ 1.1 in the fourth quarter to be within one premiership point of fourth-placed Sturt.
The Redlegs produced a very even team effort with Harvey Pearce (14 disposals, one goal), Fergus Myall (16 disposals, one goal) and Charlie Best (20 disposals, one goal) rated as their top performers.

A defensive-minded Central District outfit put the clamps on South Adelaide to record a comfortable 46-point win at Magain Stadium.
The Bulldogs kept the Panthers to just one goal for the opening three quarters as they led at each change to cement their place in the top four.
Central’s Billy Nicholls (25 disposals), Tony Marrone (34 disposals) and Giusepe Musolino dominated from the outset as the visitors kept South to just 25 inside 50s.
The Panthers praised Jayce Potter (22 disposals), Tommy Saunders (28 disposals) and Kai Clark for flying the blue and white flag.
