John joins the board with a wealth of experience in business, innovation and strategy.
Three time West Adelaide best and fairest player, having played 134 SANFL games for the Club, he was awarded Life Membership in 2021.
John was also CEO of the West Adelaide and Woodville West Torrens Football Clubs.
Originally from Robertstown, Chris worked his way through our underage programs to then captain the club from 2012 – 2017; most notably leading the club to our 2015 premiership win. Chris has since been awarded life membership and sits on the board of trustees.
Chris has extensive experience within the engineering industry, managing the civil and structural design of commercial and industrial projects. We are excited to have Chris as our Men’s Football Director and look forward to seeing him bring his skillset to the role.

Chris’s term commenced following the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Audit Partner with BDO Australia.
With over 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance, Andrew is a former Board Member of Athletics SA, former Audit Partner for SANFL Clubs Glenelg and Sturt and long term supporter and member of West Adelaide.
Additionally, Andrew has experience with developing sporting precincts -predominantly Athletics SA.
Bradley is an experienced Board Director and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Dental Association SA.
A lifelong Member of the West Adelaide Football Club, Bradley has had over 25 year’s senior leadership experience at a national level in the not-for-profit sector. These include chief executive, business development and marketing roles in sporting, professional and industry associations.
A Fellow of The Australian Institute of Company Directors, Bradley has served on many Boards and Committees having previously been a Director of Thylation Foundation, the Australian Science Media Centre, Netball SA, the Adelaide Thunderbirds and on the State Advisory Committee for CEDA.

Alison joins the board as the Female Football Director for the women’s program.
Alison comes from a background which is deeply entrenched in football club culture and is a well-respected business professional. She is inspired to assist with the growth and development of all women who wish to participate in a football environment.
We look forward to Alison making a significant impact at the West Adelaide Football Club.
Term: 3 years
Marteine has developed an impressive skillset over the course of her professional career gaining a wealth of experience in both sporting and business organisations. This knowledge as well as her experience on various committees will allow her to develop a meaningful presence with WAFC by assisting the club with membership management and growth.
Most recently, Marteine has proved successful as retail manager and centre experience manager for Westfield since 2013. Her understanding of maximising consumer engagement will be advantageous in developing innovative strategies to boost our membership base for 2020 and future seasons.
We are confident Marteine will be a valuable asset to the club and we look forward to the positive contributions she will make to our strategic planning and overall club processes.
Marteine was elected by the Members and her term commenced following the 2020 Annual General Meeting.

Emma joins the Board with the portfolio of People, Culture and Governance Director.
The holder of a Bachelor of Arts, Masters of Health Science and Bachelor of Commerce/Sports Management, Emma brings with her a broad range of experience developed through an extensive career in both the military and government. Emma has held executive leadership roles for over 18 years and has also utilised her skills in the sporting sector through Director roles with Adelaide Lightning basketball and SA Harness racing.

Tiandra joins the Board of Directors as a long term supporter of the club. Her strong passion for SANFL in particular West Adelaide Football Club stems from her family connections with the club. Tiandra has extensive experience in the insurance and finance industry, illustrating strong managerial and communication skills within her everyday role.
Additionally, Tiandra is a member of the Westonians committee having been appointed joint Vice President earlier this year. The club is excited to have Tiandra join the board as a strong voice for members.
