Bulldogs Angus Pringle (33 disposals), William Cameron (24 disposals) and Cooper Tamas (19 disposals) were instrumental in keeping their side within striking distance.

South Adelaide sits at the top of the AAMI Talent League table after it finished strongly to overcome Sturt by 19 points Thomas Farms Oval.

The Panthers couldn’t manage a goal in the first term and trailed at half-time before booting 3.2 to the Blues’ 1.0 in the final term to claim the low-scoring affair.

South’s Jackson Blacker led the way for his side with 25 disposals and 10 marks while Kai Clark (22 disposals) and Sam Walsh (14 disposals, one goal) also had a positive influence.

Inform Sturt trio Lachlan Estcourt-Hughes, Will Ekberg (20 disposals) and Angas Moyse (16 disposals) were unable to stem the tide in the fourth quarter.

Supreme efficiency inside 50m propelled Woodville-West Torrens to a spirited 12-point win against Norwood at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.

The Eagles led at every change despite having a staggering 21 fewer inside 50m entries for the match as they made the most of their opportunities forward of centre.

Rolling up the sleeves in the tough conditions was on the agenda for powerful Eagles trio Connor Rugari (26 disposals), Seb Cavallaro (27 disposals) and Romario Clemente (32 disposals).

Norwood key defender Thomas Gribben (20 disposals) was rated as his team’s best while Eddie Graham (31 disposals) and Tarkyn Grigg held their heads high.

North Adelaide cruised to a 30-point victory against Glenelg as it used its direct style of play to its advantage at Stratarama Stadium.

The Roosters dictated the terms of the contest by foot as they had 44 more kicks and took 40 more marks in the challenging conditions at the Bay.

North’s Blake Amos (32 disposals) and Harry Tamblyn (44 disposals) had a mountain of possession for the visitors as Jackson Penney was also lauded for his effort.

The Tigers will now regroup after Joshua Jarrad, who kicked all four of his team’s goals, Luca Goldie and Dean Harten flew the black and gold flag.
