Hamish Hartlett Returns Home to the Bloods

The West Adelaide Football Club is delighted to announce the key signing of Hamish Hartlett.

Hamish was drafted from West Adelaide with pick 4 in the 2008 national draft to Port Adelaide. Hamish played at Port Adelaide for 13 seasons which resulted in 193 games and 77 goals and various key leadership roles within the football club.

Hamish is excited to return to the Bloods and help the Club climb the ladder in 2022, as well as provide a great deal of support and mentorship to the playing squad.

“It’s great to be back at the Club where it all started for me. All the boys, especially the younger ones are so eager to learn and improve and hopefully I can aid their development as players. I also hope I can help the older boys that have been at the Club for a while to see some success again.

I’m excited to be back at West Adelaide working with my brother and so many great people around the place, it’s certainly heading in the right direction and I hope to be a part of sustained success in the future.”

Hamish will also take up a position within the football department as the new Development Manager. He will work with our Talent Manager across the COE and Young Bloods Academy helping develop, mentor, coach and assist in running these programs.

The Club is excited to have Hamish, his partner Luba, and the entire Hartlett Family back at West Adelaide.
