2026 SANFL U15 Intrastate Championships

South Australia’s most talented male mid-teen footballers are facing off at the 2026 SANFL U15 Intrastate Carnival held from Tuesday July 14 to Thursday July 16.

All eight SANFL clubs field two teams across the second week of the school holidays, with boys featuring in the Metro U15 and Country U15 competitions.

A host of SANFL venues are being utilised across each of the three days, with a number of U17 Intrastate and U13 Development Squad matches also being held.

After a successful introduction last year, six of the eight clubs will also host a ”whole of club” day on Wednesday where the Metro and Country squads play a trial match before having a tour of their SANFL club’s facilities.

Selected Metro and Country U15 and U17 matches will be live streamed exclusively on The Advertiser’s streaming platform, KommunityTV, allowing those living in regional areas or interstate the chance to watch the action live without traveling to Adelaide.

The carnival is an integral facet of SANFL’s Development Plan as it enables SANFL Clubs to observe players against quality opposition to assist with selection into their U16s Centre of Excellence in 2027.
