Bloods sign Ned Stevens

The West Adelaide Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Ned Stevens.

Ned performed very strongly for Labrador Tigers and the Gold Coast Suns Academy in the VFL last season. As a forward he uses his speed and agility to burn opponents on the lead.

Ned is a strong contested marksman, clean below his knees and is a very good kick for goal.

He is the younger brother of Joel Stevens, they both have very similar attributes and will be very entertaining to watch.

Ned will be arriving in Adelaide in the new year in preparation for 2023 season.

What are you looking forward to the most when joining West Adelaide? 

“l’m looking forward to getting to meet all the boys and having a great 2023 season”.

What are your thoughts on playing under new senior coach Adam Hartlett?

“I’ve only heard good things about Adam. He has passion and is very good at getting the best out of his players, so very keen to learn from him”.

What skills / attributes will you look to bring to the West Adelaide Football Club?

“I’ll be bringing my speed and agility up forward to help the team”.

Which AFL player do you model your game off?

“I try to play in a similar way to players like Jeremy Cameron and Charlie Curnow. Always providing a contest and excellent at finishing in front of goal”.

Who inspires you?

“My family inspires me the most to play football at the highest level l can”.
