Women’s Captain Announced

We are pleased to announce that Lauren Rodato will continue as our women’s captain for the 2020 season. Lauren was selected by the coaches after being a fantastic leader on and off the field. Lauren was captain in 2019 and was Vice Captain in 2018.

Women’s coach Mark Moody spoke very highly of Lauren.

“She is a very motivated individual and is a very strong leader, our playing group look up to her.”

“Lauren is a very good communicator, has strong beliefs and is always striving to get the best out of our group.”

Abbie Ballard and Rachelle Martin have been chosen as Vice Captains.

Speaking about the team Mark Moody said, “Our team has completed the pre Christmas training block in good style. I am very happy at where the group is currently, we have laid a very good foundation to begin 2020 with.”

“I am very excited with the group of young players we have coming through into our senior group and their enthusiasm to listen and learn has been very pleasing. This, coupled with our new recruits to our club – I am expecting an exciting year.”
