Murray’s Funeral Service will be held on MONDAY, 1st March, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Main Chapel of Berry’s Funeral Home, 204 Magill Road, Norwood.

The West Adelaide Football Club and their Past Players and Officials send their condolences to the family and friends of Murray Weideman who passed away at the age of 85.

Murray was Captain-Coach of West Adelaide in 1968 and 1969 taking the Bloods to the 1969 Preliminary Final. He was then Coach between 1970-1971

He made his debut for West Adelaide on April 13 1968 for round 1 against South Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Whilst at West Adelaide he played 39 games and kicked 14 goals. Murray also served on the Committee from 1979 – 1982.
