Vale Kenneth Lawrence Thorsen

The West Adelaide Football Club offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kenneth Lawrence Thorsen who passed away on 4.11.21 aged 92.

Ken played 14 league games for WAFC between 1948 and 1951 kicking 4 goals.
He retired from South Australia Police after 40 years of service at the rank of Commander.

Ken’s father, Clarence Roy Thorsen played 7 games for WAFC in 1922. Prior to that he was a Lieutenant in the Army and was awarded the Military Medal for Bravery in the field in 1917 after which he also joined the South Australia Police.
