Vale Jack Lynch

The West Adelaide Football Club & West Adelaide Past Players & Officials would like to convey their deepest condolences to the family of Jack Lynch, after his passing yesterday morning.

Jack was the first West Adelaide player to win an All-Australian guernsey. A brilliant wingman who was a regular state representative from 1950 to 1954.

In an 11-season career from 1948 to 1958 he played 147 league games for our club.

Jack was recently inducted into the West Adelaide Football club team of the Centuries taking up the rightfully position on the wing.

He was a great player for our club & the state but most of all an absolute gentlemen & will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts are with Anne & the entire Lynch family.

*The funeral service for Jack Lynch will be held on Tuesday the 8th of January at 1:30pm at the St Josephs Catholic Church, Strathmore Terrace Brighton.
