Vale Barry Bamford

The West Adelaide Football Club, Past Players and Officials are sad to announce the passing of Barry Bamford aged 76.

Barry was recruited from North Adelaide, he played his first game for Westies on April 28 1973 against Norwood. He made his debut along side 1983 premiership player Greg Summerton.

During Barry’s two seasons at West Adelaide, he played a total of 21 games and kicking 21 goals.

In the 1975 season Barry received the huge honour to captain the reserves side.
