U18’s Match Report – Round 6
The first quarter was a fast-paced affair in which our contest work was up to standard and we created consistent opportunities to score. Going into the break the score was 1.3 to 2.6.
The second quarter our contest work dropped off and our ball movement was intercepted between the arcs on multiple occasions putting our defence under pressure which was not set up well. The half time break saw us 2.6 to 4.9 behind.
The second half it was much of the same with us failing to create opportunities and the full time score reading 4.10 to 12.15.
Riley Hill in his first game for the season worked very hard and competed all game, Jack Hutton played his best game in the ruck with Will Patton continuing to be consistent in defence.
