Kaine Stevens will play his 100th league game for the West Adelaide Football Club this Sunday against Port Magpies.
Kaine came to West Adelaide from the Queanbeyan Tigers in the NEAFL in 2014 and has hardly missed a beat since. In his second year at the club he became a 2015 Premiership Player and received the award for the best player in the finals. In his 99 games so far he has booted 69 goals.
He has been a fantastic player for the club winning the last two year’s Neil Kerley Medals. He has played in the State Team twice and was selected in the Team of the Year in 2017.
Stevens has settled in South Australia after starting his own business ‘Steady Homes’ with fellow player Dustin Head. Kaine’s brother Reed has also made the move to the Bloods and has been playing solid football in the reserves for the year so far.
We wish Kaine all the best on his 100th game. We will be having presentations after the game Sunday at the club rooms – all are welcome.
Kaine will line up this weekend along side Brett Turner who is playing his 50th league game
