Mickan and Williams Honoured by SANFL

The West Adelaide Football Club would like to congratulate Mark Mickan and Mark Williams on being honoured by the SANFL with a Player/Coach Life Membership at Tuesday nights AGM.

A Player/Coach Life Membership can be awarded to any person who has participated in 200 SANFL games as a coach or combination of coach and player.

Mark Williams played 64 games for West Adelaide between 1976-1978 before playing 115  SANFL games for Port Adelaide.

Mark Mickan is in the West Adelaide Team of the Centuries and Hall of Fame after playing 139 games for the Bloods and leading our 2015 team to our first premiership in 32 years.

West Adelaide also congratulates life member Jason Thiele who received his SANFL Merit Award for more than 25 years service  as property and ball steward and hydration manager.
