Nine Hostplus SANFLW League players have been invited to the 2023 AFLW Draft Combine on Saturday October 14.

To be held in conjunction with South Australia’s AFL Draft Combine for the boys on the same day, the AFLW Draft Combine will also take place at Nazareth College and the Bridgestone Athletics Track in Salisbury.

Headlined by seasoned-campaigners Lauren Young (West Adelaide) and Shineah Goody (Eagles), the Croweaters’ crop also included 2023 SANFLW Best and Fairest winner Piper Window (Glenelg).

South Adelaide trio Brooke Boileau, Alissa Brook and Holly Ifould will not only represent the Panthers but also the Great Southern Football League, with all three players originating from GSFL clubs.

Classy Norwood utility Molly Brooksby, Sturt’s tall target Zara Walsh and Central District premiership livewire Elaine Grigg will also be put through their paces.

Physical testing to be conducted will include the vertical jump, running vertical jump, 20-metre sprint, agility test and 2km time trial.

All players invited to attend the 2023 AFLW Draft Combine are eligible to be selected in the 2023 AFLW Draft which will be held following the 2023 AFLW Season.
