VOTING EXTENDED – 2019 Board Election Information

To allow as many members as possible to have their votes recorded, the voting period has been extended and will now close at 6.30pm tonight. This is 30min before the commencement of the AGM so come down to the club and have a drink or a meal before the AGM and lodge your vote before 6.30pm.

Voting forms will be available at the bar and must be lodged at Reception before 6.30pm.

As required by our Constitution, the West Adelaide Football Club would like to announce the following candidates for the two (2) Member Elected roles on the Board of Directors. As the number of applications received exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, in accordance with clause 20.4.7 a ballot is required.

Richard Sykes – (previous President 2012 – 2016, Board Member 2009 – 2016, 2018)

Kristen Demetriou – (previous Board Member 2014 – 2018)

Troy Abbott – (previous Board Member 2017 – 2018)

Who can vote?

Any 2018 or 2019 financial members are eligible to vote in the election.

How to vote

Members eligible to vote may do so in one of two ways.

Via Email

Members should direct an email to the Returning Officer – returningofficer@westadelaidefc.com.au

Said email must include;

• “WAFC Board Election 2019” in the subject line
• Members full name and address and date of birth.

The Club reserves the right to check the validity of any votes received via email against Member records held.

Within the body of the email, votes should be listed as follows;

• First Preference                – <<Insert Candidate Name>>
• Second Preference           – <<Insert Candidate Name>>
• Third preference               – <<Insert Candidate Name>>

Please complete ballot paper available at WAFC reception and bar, and return to the reception desk by 6:30pm.
