Star Signing

Former Hawthorn midfielder Kieran Lovell will be a vital addition to the Bloods midfield, offering plenty of support for the tireless Kaine Stevens. The strongly-built 23-year-old is a genuine ball magnet, racking up possessions at will in his native Tasmania with the Kingborough Tigers. His contested, in an under style, is expected to suit the Statewide Super League.

Utility Jye Sinderberry is another potential Powerade Breakthrough Player candidate.

On the Rise - Powerade Breakthrough Player Candidate

Roxby Downs product Bailey Chamberlain was considered to be in the AFL Draft mix last year but after missing out on selection, the smooth-moving midfielder will be aiming to establish himself in the Bloods’ League line-up. Made his Statewide Super League debut in the final minor round match of last season, kicking a crucial goal (in the clip below) in the fourth term to help his team earn an upset win.

Ones to Watch - Torrens University SANFL State Talent Hub Player

Cade Kennedy (178cm and 75kg) – Reliable midfielder with a big engine who carried a big load for West’s U18s last year. Strengths include winning the ball at ground level and applying pressure to the opposition’s midfield.
