2019 SANFL Minor Grade Fixture Release

The SANFL Reserves will begin on Friday March 29 with West Adelaide v Sturt at City Mazda Stadium.

The Reserves Grand Final, to be held on Sunday September 22, will again be a curtain-raiser to the Statewide Super League title-decider at the Adelaide Oval.

Starting on Saturday March 30, the Under-18 Torrens University Cup competition will feature three ”Showcase Rounds” following the successful introduction of this concept in 2018.

The ”Showcase Rounds” are weekends when the majority of SA’s most talented Under-18 players are available for selection at their respective SANFL clubs, allowing AFL recruiters to see them go head-to-head under intense pressure.

Where possible, matches during the ”Showcase Rounds” – Round 1, Round 14 and Round 18 – are scheduled in differing timeslots, to ensure maximum exposure for each club’s players leading into the 2019 AFL Draft.
