Vale Donald Eric Phillips

The West Adelaide Football Club, Past Players & Official would like to acknowledge the passing of Donald Phillips.

Don played a significant role coaching West Adelaide Colts in the mid to late 1960’s.

His first year as Colts coach was in 1965 where he was also involved in the Colts Committee. 1966 Colts coach, Colts Committee and was elected State coach after a ballot of 5 teams.

Don also coached the Colts in 1969, the year Glyn Hewitt won the Colts Best & Fairest.

Like Don, Brenton his son is heavily involved with the development of South Australian young footballers.

Our thoughts are with all the Phillips family and friends.
