Visiting Adelaide Galvanising Industries

Hamish Hartlett and Josh Ryan recently visited our major sponsor Adelaide Galvanising Industries PL, where they were given a plant tour by Managing Director Tony Grantham.

AGI is an after fabrication hot dip galvanising facility. Items arrive as untreated steel.

From there they are checked for suitability, suspended for cleaning / pickling and finally immersed in molten zinc.

The zinc envelopes the structure and provides a durable coating to prevent corrosion.

They service industries from construction, marine, agriculture and roadside hardware.
