Zoe Venning wins 2025 State Best and Fairest – SANFLW

Zoe Venning has been crowned the 2025 SANFLW Best and Fairest — and we couldn’t be prouder.
She has been with Westies since her U14’s, winning 3 previous Club Best and Fairest, and is our games record holder – now Awarded Best in the State.
This isn’t just a win for Zoe. It’s a moment for every teammate, coach, supporter and junior who’s watched her grow into the champion she is today.
Debuting for West Adelaide in 2019 as a 16-year-old, Zoe has been one of the most consistent performers in the competition, having finished in the top three in both 2023 and 2024, before rightfully claiming the League’s highest individual honour in 2025.

At just 21 years of age, Zoe’s list of achievements is already exceptional. She is a South Australian State representative at both U18 and Senior Women’s level, a three-time West Adelaide Best and Fairest winner, our 2025 Vice-Captain, and the SANFLW Games Record Holder for West Adelaide, having played 85 games in the red and black. She now adds the SANFLW Best and Fairest Medal to an already remarkable résumé.

Zoe’s 2025 season was outstanding, averaging 26.4 disposals, 5.8 tackles and 5.1 clearances per game which highlights her ability to win the football and her consistent effort across the 2025 season.

We are incredibly proud of Zoe and look forward to seeing her continue to inspire the next generation of Bloods.

Congratulations also to Zoe for making the 2025 Advertiser Team of the Year along with Hannah Button and Lucy Waye.
