Welcome Home Thomas Scully

We’re very excited to welcome home 204cm Key Forward Thomas Scully.

Tom has spent the last two seasons on Port Adelaide’s after being selected at pick 53 in the 2022 AFL National Draft. Tom performed strongly for Port Adelaide in the SANFL and was very unlucky to not be given an opportunity to play in their AFL side. Having played with Ollie Lord, Lachie Jones, Tom Clurey, Jeremy Finlayson and Dylan Williams he will bring a lot of knowledge and leadership back with him.

He will be a big presence for us up forward with the ability to go into the ruck as well.

Tom is a very good mark overhead and quick on the lead making him a very tough match up for defenders, and is also very clever around goals impacting the scoreboard every game he plays.

“Tom will provide us with great versatility in the front half. He’s 204cm, he can play deep and he can play higher up the ground. Has great goal sense and is a big competitor who always wants to beat his opponent” said coach Adam Hartlett.

Tom will be a fantastic addition to our forward line and is already looking forward to getting to know his new team mates and coaches. “I’m very happy to be back with the Westies family. It’s such a young and exciting group and l can’t wait to see what we can do in season 2025” said Tom.

We look forward to seeing Tom have a big 2025 season wearing the red and black.

Go Bloods.
