Vale Robert North Simpson

The West Adelaide Football Club & Past Players & Officials are sad to announce the passing of Robert Simpson.

Robert Passed away peacefully at Lealholme on the 12th of September 2023, Aged 72.

Robert was recruited from Risdon in the Port Pirie League in 1972. He made his debut in Round 15 against Norwood at The Parade on the 15^th of July, 1972.

He was player number 853.

It was noted in the 1972 Annual Report that he was a very promising player but had limited matches as he lived in Port Pirie and was unable to attend training.
