The West Adelaide Football Club & Past Players & Officials are sad to announce the passing of Max Brooks. Max made his debut for West Adelaide on the 12th of August 1961 against Norwood at Adelaide Oval at the age of 20.
That same year, he was named emergency for our Grand Final side that defeated Norwood in October.
Over 4 seasons with the Bloods Max played 21 games and kicked 7 goals.
Originally from Millicent in the Western Border League he won the 1966 Reserves L J Kenny Trophy.
Our thoughts are with the Brooks family and friends.
Vale Max Brooks
