The West Adelaide Football Club is sad to announce the passing of past player and life member Frank Leonard.
Frank made his debut on the 21st of June 1969, Round 10, against North Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, at the of age 18.
His career spanned 8 seasons with West Adelaide from 1969 to 1974 and 1976 to 1978. Frank played 109 games and kicked 35 goals and played in the 1968 thirds premiership. Frank was was awarded life membership in 1978
In 1998 he was on a panel together with John Halbert, Murray Tippett and Robert Oatey to review operations of WAFC under age teams.
