West Adelaide are excited to announce that 17 year old Harry Lemmey will make his debut for the Red and Black this weekend against Port Adelaide. He will become player 1449 to play League Football for the Club.
Harry has impressed the senior coaches over the last two weeks while training with the senior squad and he was rewarded with a Reserves games last week against the Eagles where he clearly stood out as one of the better key forwards on the ground.
Talent Manager Paul Streatfield noted that, ‘Harry is a 200cm forward, has played his junior football at the Blackwood and Flagstaff Hill Football Clubs, attends and plays school football at Scotch College and is a member of the SA U17 State Squad. His strengths as a player include his contested marking, long kicking, being clean at ground level and has great endurance.’
Also selected in the squad to take on Port is Edward Allan, Hayden Elliot and a potential debut for Luke Redfern from the Coolamon Rovers who have all been named on an extended bench for Sunday.
