Football Operations Manager Position

The West Adelaide Football Club is advertising for a Football Operations Manager position, as can be seen below.

THE ROLE

The Football Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Football Department within the West Adelaide Football Club. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Football Operations Manager will lead the development of an elite football program designed to deliver success. Key tasks will include managing the senior playing lists and coordination of the recruiting process. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Coach to ensure all match-day requirements are in place and also coordinate medical and support staff.
The Football Operations Manager will also work closely with the Talent & Development Manager to drive continual improvement in the development of youth talent at West Adelaide Football Club.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

-Ability to actively contribute to talent identification and recruitment strategies
-Strong ability to develop relationships with a broad range of stakeholders

-Ability to plan, organise and manage time efficiently

-Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and be a positive representative of the West Adelaide Football Club
