CEO Resignation

Dear Valued Members and Supporters

Early December, Conny Wilson our Chief Executive Officer, submitted her resignation to the Board. Conny has been at West Adelaide since November 2021, and has made the decision to step away from the role and seek out new opportunities. During her time at West Adelaide she has worked closely with the Board and staff, members, players and supporting partners of the Club. As evidenced by the relationships she has built here, her commitment to West Adelaide has been unwavering as our Chief Executive.  She has overseen a number of strategic partnerships and positive changes during her tenure. Her contribution has been evident across the Football Club and also the Licenced Venue with considerable financial improvements being realised under Conny’s leadership. Conny has built a loyal and committed team that works tirelessly to continually improve the experience for our member base and community.  The board wishes Conny success for her future endeavours and wishes to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to her for her service over the last three years.

Conny’s final day will be Friday 24 January 2025.

The Board will take this opportunity to review the immediate and future needs of the club and the essential requirements of our future CEO.   We are committed to exploring all options in the best interests of West Adelaide Football Club and look forward to sharing progress with you in the new year.
