Club Statement

The Club have held discussions with Bruce Dawes at the end of the women’s season and an understanding reached that the time is right for a new coaching direction moving forward.

Bruce has led our women’s team for the past three seasons and has had an enormous impact on the Club, program and participants involved.

Joining us after previously coaching Sturt’s women’s team, Bruce’s passion, energy and effort have ensured that the program has evolved and is positioned well for success in the future.

We thank Bruce and wish him all the best for the next stage of his football journey. He is a valued member of our club and look forward to celebrating his achievements at our upcoming best and fairest night in early August.

The Club will look to advertise the women’s coaching position in the coming weeks with an appointment to follow shortly after that, with clarity and direction a priority for all for the 2026 season.
