2023 Hostplus SANFL League Trial Match Results

SANFL has released the 2023 Hostplus SANFL League Trial Match fixture, with the eight SANFL Clubs to play three practice games in March.

Glenelg and Sturt will get things rolling with a clash under lights at Thebarton Oval on Friday March 3, with another three games being conducted on Saturday March 4.

The pristine surface at Thebarton will play host to at least six SANFL League trial matches as it acts as a neutral venue for clubs with home grounds being used for Premier League cricket.

AFL-aligned clubs Adelaide and Port Adelaide will line-up in two SANFL League trial matches, including a preseason Showdown contest at Alberton Oval on March 26.

All Hostplus SANFL League trial matches are open to the public with admission free of charge.

Round 1 of the 2023 Hostplus SANFL League season kicks off on the weekend of Saturday April 1, with the full fixture to be released by SANFL early next week.
