The original 1970 lace up guernsey, worn and donated by Club Great, Robert Day.

Robert Day, a stalwart of the sport, donned this lace up guernsey in 1970, his year of Captaincy. In 1966 he was named in the All Australian team and was a three time Best & Fairest winner with West Adelaide (1965, 1966 and 1970). He also represented South Australia 12 times at interstate football.
Robert went on and played for Hawthorn, being a member of their Premiership Team in 1971.
