Vale Bruce Battersby

The West Adelaide Football Club & Past Players & Officials are sad to announce the Passing of Bruce Battersby.

Bruce Passed away Peacefully on July 24 2023, aged 84.

Bruce started his involvement with West Adelaide Football Club as a trainer in 1974.

He held many positions in his time at the club which included Management Committee (1976-77),
Zone Manager, Junior League (1976-78) and Organizer & Umpire for the Junior League (1981-84).

He was awarded an Officials 5 years certificate in 1978 and a volunteer Merit Award in 1993.

Bruce was a great servant of the West Adelaide Football Club, our thoughts are with his family and friends during this time.

Bruce’s Funeral will take place on Friday August 11 2023, at 2:00pm – Simplicity Funerals Victor Harbor
