R1 Team Selections – U18’s & U16’s vs Eagles

The junior boys are back! Tomorrow (Saturday March 25) our U18’s and U16’s will start their season against Eagles at Hisense Stadium.

U16’s starting at 2:00pm, followed by the U18’s at 4:30pm.

We have exciting talent coming through and can’t wait to see it all on display this year.

It will be an exciting day with several players playing their first match for the football club, we are wishing you all the very best boys.

Round 1 will have a special meaning for the U18’s, it will mark the annual Jake Watson Memorial Shield match between West Adelaide FC and Woodville West Torrens FC. This match is to honour and pay tribute to Jake Watson, as well as Ben Mitchell, Glenn Knott and Corey Siemers, whom we have sadly lost and wish to recognise the contribution they made to the football club.

Not only are the juniors playing, our women’s teams will also be in action from 10:10am. How great is it to have footy back!
