Devotion to Duty
Long-time West Adelaide member Chris Collins has written a book dedicated to World War One Servicemen who also played football at the West Adelaide Football Club.
After noticing an honour board in the WAFC gym remembering players who had served our country, Chris realised that further information regarding these players was not easily found. That was the original inspiration for ‘Devotion to Duty’ which is now available for purchased directly from the author. This is Chris’ fifth book about World War I having previously written four books for the RSL.
The book is for sale for $15 with proceeds going to the West Adelaide History Group. Books can be purchased from WAFC reception. The history group and Chris Collins will also have a small display in the bistro from 5pm on the 24th of July in which people can purchase a copy and have their book signed if they wish.
