Vale Robert Farmer

It is with great sadness that the West Adelaide Football Club and its Past Players and Officials announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Farmer (6 June 1947 – 16 June 2026).

Bob joined the club in 1970 after a six-season VFL career with Collingwood, where he played 56 games and scored 51 goals.

He made his West Adelaide debut as player number 816 in Round 1 1970, against Sturt at Richmond Oval.

The club extends its deepest condolences to the Farmer family and Bob’s many friends.
