Vale Ted Kerley

The West Adelaide Football Club, Past Players and Officials are sad to announce the passing of Ted Kerley.

Ted was a Life Member and true servant of the Football Club.

He was born on the 11th of January 1938 and passed away peacefully on Sunday 17th of November 2024 aged 86.

There’s nothing he loved more than watching his older brother Neil when as a player and coach.

In 1994 he joined the WAFC Committee of Management, a position he held until 2007.

During that time Ted was also Bingo Coordinator from 1994 to 2002. He also ran the Friday meat raffle at the club for 10 years.

In 2014, Ted took on the role as our Reserves Team Manager, he retired from that position in 2021.

He was rightly awarded Life Membership in 2017 after many years of service to the club.

Our thoughts are with Mary, the Kerley family & Ted’s friends.
