We travelled to Thomas Farms Oval for our Round 10 fixture.
The game began with us generating opportunities to score. However, our offensive decision-making was inconsistent, hindering our ability to convert these opportunities into high-percentage shots on goal. Despite our efforts, we struggled to move the ball effectively and capitalize.
In the second quarter, we were more direct, which proved to be successful having eight shots on goal, allowing us to reduce the deficit and go into halftime trailing by only five points.
Unfortunately, the third quarter saw a regression in our ball movement again combined with lapses in concentration on defence. These issues prevented us from gaining territory and therefore provided us with limited scoring opportunities.
Despite the setbacks, we showed resilience in the final quarter with a high standard of effort and produced 4 goals.
We now have a 6-day break where we host South Adelaide in a Friday night fixture with the under 16’s playing beforehand.
